Taking place from 10 thru 13 October at Kraftwerk Berlin is the Berlin Photo Week. Exhibitions with photographs by Sven Marquardt, Thomas Hoepker, or Olaf Heine, will be on display at the venue alongside previously unseen works by Thomas Kretschmann or Evelyn Bencicova. ROLF SCHEIDER from CASTING COMPANY is there for GoSee. Four days – one week? Who knows? The weeks in Berlin are shorter, and the weekends are much longer than anywhere else.
Also part of the program is the tPIC conference: Two days with more than 30 speakers from the areas of law, marketing and business – on three stages. The conference is supported by companies including Canon, EyeEm, CEWE, Leica, Sony, Tamron, Olympus, Panasonic, and lexoffice.
The Berlin Photo Week Conference takes place in parallel to tPIC from 1pm on Saturday, 13 October. Participants with two-day tickets for tPIC or a one-day ticket from 12 October can also attend the keynotes of the conference – and GoSee members and GoSee readers get a great 20% discount on tickets.
The tPIC venue, also the heart of the Berlin Photo Week, is Berlin’s Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk is a fascinating location full of history, more than enough to get creativity flowing. On three floors, the event offers a rich program of exhibitions in relevant photography museums and galleries such as the Helmut Newton Foundation, the Jewish Museum, Robert Morat Gallery, C/O Berlin… to name a few.
