Saint Augustine Academy – that is neither a school nor a cadre training unit. Saint Augustine Academy is an Australian fashion label, founded by designer Alvin Manalo and his business partner Adrian Amores in 2003 with a flagship store in Sydney.

The label makes no secret of its high affinity and ties with the indie-scene and alternative music scene that goes with it – no wonder Nick Cave can be found on the long list of friends and supporters.

The looks by the lads down under have an appropriate air of coolness about them. The new video that is showcased here on GoSee was inspired by Tom Wolfe's video released in the book 'Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test' 1986. It is considered the ultimate book about the hippie movement and tells the story of musician Ken Kesey's and his band the Merry Pranksters’ acid trips and all sorts of other psychedelic journeys while touring the States.

It is not very hard to decipher the spot's rather kaleidoscopic nature – a reminiscence of one of our favourite toys of bygone years. Cute.
