Jan STEINHILBER photographed the new 911 Speedster in the circle of its ancestors and other air-cooled legends (Art Director: Lars Heberer, Art Buyer: Agnieszka Henkel). The location for it was the legendary Porsche Archive. Hidden in a small town near Stuttgart are prototypes, racing cars and individual objects, with an extreme density of racing and automotive history. An absolutely authentic location and yet an almost magical place.'
Two kilometers of files, 2.5 million photos and slides, 4,000 books, and 1,700 hours of footage – the Historical Archive of Porsche AG preserves every bit of important information pertaining to Porsche AG – whether economic, technical, social, or cultural. The Porsche Museum holds more than 80 vehicles on a 5,600 square-meter exhibition space.
