From the Lofoten Islands to the North Cape. Powerful MERCEDES BENZ ACTROS 2563 workhorses from ServiceNord Engros AS distribute food and goods for everyday use in northern Norway. Matthias Aletsee accompanied the drivers on their long hauls in the far north for an editorial story in Mercedes Benz Transport magazine RoadStars. The agency was Prh Hamburg with Creative Director Dr. Lars Kruse. Each day of the shoot at the end of last year, there were only five hours of daylight.
ServiceNord Engros AS supplies restaurants and canteens in northern Norway with everything they need. For transporting goods in the polar region, Actros and their top-of-the-range engines are the best solution, according to CEO Jørn Johansen. He explains why in ROADSTARS magazine. The region covers an area almost as large as England, yet it is populated by only about half a million people. These drivers can cover up to 800 kilometers in a day, yet still manage to make deliveries to maybe 20 customers or more in one shift. The complete reportage is available on ROADSTARS, and more from Matthias on his website and on GoSee.
