Pascale Weber photographs Summer-inspired still lifes for SENSAI Cosmetics – The Sense and Science of Japan

For a glowing tan today, and timeless beauty tomorrow... Swiss still life photographer PASCALE WEBER staged the sun creams and sun blockers for SENSAI COSMETICS elegantly with a floral interplay of shadows. 'This is my newest story for cosmetic brand Sensai in focus for their Instagram account. For the silky bronze products, we brought the summer into our studio.'

SENSAI once manufactured fabrics and discovered that the hands of the silk weavers had a particularly silky and tender appearance. The researchers then discovered that especially Koishimaru silk has the exclusive power to promote the production of hyaluron. This natural substance is essential for the care and development of the legendary Japanese Kinuhada – an immaculate silky skin. Since then, SENSAI has been researching beauty.
