In China's Far West, somewhere between the Taklamakan and Gobi deserts – on Marco Polo's legendary caravan trail the Silk Road, a fully electric Cross Turismo zooms by. Ice-cold nights in a tent – a smoking camp fire and sandstorms. Barbecue goat and beer, sand in the camera and camels in the distance. Who says there aren't any adventures left? If you don't believe us – just ask STEFFEN JAHN.
About – The Taklamakan desert is located in southwest Xinjiang in Northwest China. It is bordered by the Kunlun mountains to the south, the Pamir mountains and Tian Shan (ancient Mount Imeon) to the west and north, and the Gobi Desert to the east.
