Nikolaj MØLLER c/o BLINK PRODUCTION photographed the new collection from 66°NORTH, an Icelandic manufacturer of outdoor and function wear.
66°NORTH was founded in 1926 by Hans Kristjansson, who manufactured apparel for the fishers of Iceland. In the 1960s, the product range was expanded to include work clothes and leisurewear suitable for cold temperatures. The brand has since established itself as one of the most popular in Iceland. Sustainability is the name of the game today, which is why the designers rely on natural materials such as wool and get their inspiration from traditional knitting patterns. Production is driven only by wind energy and geothermal heat.
