We are delighted that Karen Schwarzer is supporting the GoSeeAWARDS once again this year and will be looking for new talents at the photo & film salon UPDATE!8BERLIN while meeting up with old friends. For 15 years, Karen Schwarzer has been in charge of art buying at Philipp & Keuntje – or PUK for short.
The creative agency was founded in January 1999 in a former community center in Hamburg's St. Pauli district and is now headquartered in the former free port area of the Speicherstadt district. At the moment, 200 employees work for their clients in the Hamburg and Ingolstadt offices. These include alongside founding clients such as Audi and Astra also brands like NEFF, Deutsche Bank, E WIE EINFACH, BRITA, Holsten, Jägermeister, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, HSH Nordbank, J.J.DARBOVEN, HOCHBAHN, Fuchs, Ostmann, Sylt, Meica, and MOIA.
'Welcome to the 8th dimension!' GoSee member Uwe Duettmann staged the new AUDI Q8 richly contrasted with an expressive design in a luxurious ambiance. The catalog was realized by Philipp & Keuntje with CD Cornelius Hafemeister and Art Buyer Karen Schwarzer. Plus, we present several more examples on GoSee for which Karen took care of art buying.
PUK regularly takes home prizes for her creations. On 21 September, the winners of the 2018 MAX Awards were announced in Berlin. PUK won Silver twice, once for the work "Audi Brand Experience Reloaded" and the other for the project "Shitty Paper – Hate is Something to Shit On". Manufacturer Goldeimer turned right-wing campaign hate into toilet paper. To do so, people all over Germany collected right-wing campaign propaganda from the streets with the PUK collection kits. After the election, the material became the special edition 'Shitty Paper – Hate is Something to Shit On.'
