Run For The Oceans is a global initiave raising awareness about plastic pollution in the sea through the energy of sports and inspiring people to action to protect our oceans. From June 8th through 16th, 2019, runners across the globe can collect kilometers through the Runtastic app. For every kilometer run, ADIDAS will donate 1 US dollar (max. 1.5 million) to the Parley Ocean School, which teaches young people how to fight ocean pollution.

The project's accompanying film was  produced by Rachel Perry for WHALE AMSTERDAM and BRAND ARTICULATIONS. 'I am very proud of this film that I made a couple of months ago with my creative production company whale. I was lucky enough to travel to the Maldives with Adidas & Parley to document this very special program on educating the local youth on ocean plastic pollution. The whole program is funded by Run for The Oceans, an adidas + Parley collaboration.'

We are also please to announce that Rachel, who has also done beautiful work for Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam and others, will be joining us at the UPDATE-19-BERLIN.
