Studio Wunsch and Modest Department produced an unusual image film in the marble quarry in Carrara. Carrara is famous for its white marble which even Michelangelo used to carve his statues. And since Robert Wunsch normally has musicians, hip hoppers and celebrities in front of his camera, it came as no surprise that he would create an extraordinary film... "We are proud to present you the image film we shot with the nice folks at Modest Department for the launch of De Dolomieu's marble MacBook stand in the stunning landscapes of Carrara. HYPEBEAST says Block is the most decadent MacBook accessory ever. Make sure to check it out on www.dedolomieu.com" says the photographer and director.
"It's an amazing thing to see the raw material that creates a product. Not only for the marble in BLOCK, but for everything. All of our consumer goods have a story, a real story. The raw materials must be located, excavated, transported, processed (and there can be hundreds of steps performed before a product reaches the end consumer). This excludes the number of trials, the tribulations, and the people involved that help to create the product. How many materials would we recognize in their pure elemental state? At one point in time this dusty stone could have been passed off as anything to us. It was rock as far as we knew. It's now BLOCK. And even though we now know the process, we are never any less amazed," the team from De Dolomieu tells us about the product.

Accompanying the personal interview, ROBERT WUNSCH photographed 23-year old singer Zayn Malik in a fashion editorial for HIGHSNOBIETY Magazine. In the interview, the former member of the British-Irish boy group 'One Direction' speaks, among other things, of his very special talents, which the photographer was able to realize in a very clear way: “Zayn’s adroit ability to spot bullshit when he sees it could be his greatest talent – aside from his musical capabilities, of course.” (styling: Chantal Drywa-Wunsch, casting: Anissa Payne).
