STRANGE CARGO FILM produces an H&M commercial with Natalia Vodianova and Director David Sims – the Conscious Exclusive 2017 collection celebrates the beauty of sustainability

Natalia Vodianova is the face of the new H&M Conscious Exclusive 2017 campaign. GoSee presents the film, which was produced by STRANGE CARGO FILM and directed by fashion photographer David Sims. Director of Photography on the team was Daniel Landin.

“For this year’s Conscious Exclusive collection at H&M, we thought not only about the look of the pieces, but also how they feel and sound. It’s a collection to please all our senses, and also our desire to be sustainable in everything we do,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director.

“Each piece in the women’s Conscious Exclusive collection combines the freshness of spring with the soul of sustainability. One key piece is an ethereal gown of flowing pleats, made of BIONIC® - a polyester made of recycled shoreline waste.”

“H&M's Conscious Exclusive collection shows how the best style can be mindful of the planet, to help protect it for the future. It's such a desirable collection, with pieces made of sustainable materials that you want to wear for seasons to come.” Natalia Vodianova, face of the campaign and founder of Elbi – a philanthropic digital platform connecting users with a global network of charities.

The collection is available from 20 April, 2017!

Marimekko's Fall/Winter 2017 collection film celebrates its premier at the Paris Fashion Week - production by STRANGE CARGO FILM

Presented at the Paris Fashion Week was the new collection from Finnish label MARIMEKKO as well as a film by Swedish-Polish photographer and Director Kacper Kasprzyk. “In 2017, the centenary of its home country's independence, Marimekko celebrates Finnish creative culture and design heritage. The Fall/Winter 2017 collection was inspired by Finnish art, architecture and folklore and the mysticism of national epic Kalevala, and how the influence of Finnish nature can be seen in the country's culture overall. Filmed at different locations in Helsinki, the film shows the ordinary from an interesting point of view. Kasprzyk was also inspired by the craftsmanship of Marimekko's textile printing factory in Helsinki,” as we learn from the label. GoSee member STRANGE CARGO FILM wrapped up production of the film, which we are pleased to present you here on GoSee.
