Andreas Löwenstam, Head of Men's Fashion at H&M on the latest trends and the collaboration with artist THE WEEKND: "I look into our own stores, and I do look at competitors and other concepts to make sure that we are right on track with current and coming men’s clothing collections. I also look at what the guys on the street are wearing. I follow the catwalks to look for new tendencies and directions. It is often new concepts that I find most inspiring. It could be a specific store, a movie or an album. The combination of great creativity and profitability are often the most inspiring for me... Music and fashion are very tightly connected, and therefore it felt natural to look for a musician. It feels exciting to be working with a new influencer. Natalia Vodianova is the face of the new H&M Conscious Exclusive 2017 campaign. GoSee presents the film, which was produced by STRANGE CARGO FILM and directed by fashion photographer David Sims. Director of Photography on the team was Daniel Landin.
“For this year’s Conscious Exclusive collection at H&M, we thought not only about the look of the pieces, but also how they feel and sound. It’s a collection to please all our senses, and also our desire to be sustainable in everything we do,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director.
“Each piece in the women’s Conscious Exclusive collection combines the freshness of spring with the soul of sustainability. One key piece is an ethereal gown of flowing pleats, made of BIONIC® - a polyester made of recycled shoreline waste.”
“H&M's Conscious Exclusive collection shows how the best style can be mindful of the planet, to help protect it for the future. It's such a desirable collection, with pieces made of sustainable materials that you want to wear for seasons to come.” Natalia Vodianova, face of the campaign and founder of Elbi – a philanthropic digital platform connecting users with a global network of charities.
