We are delighted to welcome Stefanie Thode, Managing Director of Creation at the agency thodepohlai Communications, as a juror of our GoSeeAWARDS. As an owner-managed, full-service agency with plenty of fashion & lifestyle expertise, she and her business partner Karsten Pohlai develop communication solutions ranging from classic to unconventional – both above and below the line. With lots of attention to detail and the highest quality standards, they meet the demands of their clients, realize high-quality photo productions as well as print campaigns, image folders, lookbooks and trend reports. Stefanie Thode is looking forward to fashion-savvy submissions to the GoSeeAWARDS as well as to viewing stimulating work.

Plus, we also wanted to know from the creatives how they look for photographers and talents. “We find new photographers and artists in a several different ways. Through photo representatives, work sent to us and newsletters like GoSee, but also through photos posted on social media channels or published in magazines and advertising. And please send us recommendations.” Stefanie Thode tells GoSee.

Are there certain important skills for you which photographers should have and do you leave the choice of models and the team up to the photographer, or do you try to fulfill clients requirements? “We pay attention to how the photographer handles light, the perspective of the photographer, the talent to improvise, flexibility and, above all, interaction with the model. We put together the team for each photo production ourselves. We agree the models with the photographer. The final decision is made by the client.”


We introduce the agency visually with a selection of latest works, including the development and realization of a loud, never-before-seen image concept to reposition the brand H.I.S JEANS. In front of Wilfried Wullf's camera stood Gwylim Pugh and Beata Grabowska.

For JOKER JEANS, they took care of development and realization of an image world, with visuals to underscore the topics of sustainability and quality. Marco Trunz c/o SONJA HEINTSCHEL stood behind the camera for the people production. The stills were photographed by Andrea Thode.
